The
Beka Q&A - The
Questions
Q: If you
could say anything to the transgendered community what would it be?
A: Hmmmm this
is a tough question to awnser but I have finally figured out somewhat of an
awnser. Since
I came out to my friends and family about my being transsexual, I have learned one very
important thing in being accepted in today's society. One must love themselves and who
they are to be happy.

Q: Have you
thought
about being a girl permanently?
A: The awnser to this question
is rather easy but yet complex at the same time. Allow me to elaborate. I have
thought about it hard and long. Deciding that you want to have SRS is
something that just doesn't come over night. I have felt like this my entire
life but until a few years ago did I truly start to understand who and what I
was. Before that I've always had feelings of being more feminine than most of
my friends. While in high school I was approached by my parents to go to see a
therapist and to try and figure all of this out. I immediately started denying
who and what I was for fear of rejection with my friends and family as well as
society in general.

Q: I
can't even conceive of you not as Rebeka, but is your alter ego similar or different than
you?
A: Ummmmm what
alter ego....do you mean multiple personality's....Ummmm nope don't have any of The Cybil
complex.

Q: What
sort of hormones are you taking currently?
A: I am currently on .5mg of
estrodoil as well as 100mgs of spirolactone (spelling &
pronunciation) 2x per day and 5mg of provera. I am currently happy with
my current dosages so I will stick with them now that I have figured out
what works on my body the best.

Q: Have
You Always Wanted to Be a Woman ?
A: Yes, I figured out what
gender was the age of three. As
early as I can remember I have always wanted to be a girl. At times like all transsexuals
in their lifetime, they go through a denial period. My period started at the age of 13 and
ended when I was about 25.

Q: Do You Want to Have SRS Surgery ?
A: Gawd, this
question is something that weights on my mind on a daily basis. Remember
when I was saying dsomething about coming to terms with oneself. Well it's
been a long hard road and I am perfectly content with who and what i am. It
doesn't matter to me wether or not i have surgery. I would be perfectly happy
if all I got was a breat augmentation. Michelle has helped me with alot of
decisions in my life and this is one of them. I have no problem with being
called a shemale, etc, whatever. Labels are a cheap way of putting an ideal
with something.

Q: If
I am attracted to you does that make me gay ?
A: I live as a
bi-sexual woman, so no that doesn't make you gay. I am feminine in body in mind, god
played a cruel joke on me when I was born. No wonder I don't follow the christian
religion. That is another topic for another time.
